TOPIK

TOPIK is not the goal. It’s how you check the Korean you already use.

Tell me your target and your test date. I’ll give you a week-by-week plan, and tell you honestly if it is realistic.

Free. Nothing to sign up for.

How it runs

  1. 1You get a plan, and a free mock test.
  2. 2You study. One email every four weeks.
  3. 3A mock test every month. You watch the score move.
  4. 4Four weeks before the test, we can work on it together.

What the levels mean

A level is a thing you can do, not a number.

Find the line that sounds like where you want to be. The score is the small print.

  • 4You can work or study in Korean, with effort.150 / 300 · TOPIK II

Most people reading this are going for 1 or 2. That is the whole of TOPIK I, and it is one test.

The planner

Three questions. Then a plan you can keep.

Nothing to sign up for, and no email needed to see it.

01 — Where you are

02 — Where you’re going

I’ll say so if it is a stretch.

03 — How long you have

Dates for the coming year are published in October.

Your plan appears below. No account, no email.

Next tests

When you can sit it

Registration closes weeks before the test, and that is the part people miss.

The dates for the coming year are not out yet.

They are published each October, and they go here as soon as they are. Until then the official schedule and registration are at topik.go.kr.

Before you start

What I don’t do

I don’t teach past papers. The official ones are free at topik.go.kr, and they’re better than anything I’d make.

I can’t promise a level. I can tell you honestly whether your plan is realistic.

If you’re going for TOPIK 3 or above, I help with writing and speaking. Reading and listening you’ll do on your own, and I’ll tell you where.

Finished the test and want to actually talk? That is the rest of the academy.
